you’re not alone-none of us are! i feel like ive been in the passenger seat of my life since the pandemic. a psychiatrist told me the neurons in the prefrontal cortex of my brain were overly stimulated and that’s where the derealization comes from. not sure if this is true but wanted to share. ive found that meditations and journaling help cope with feeling “not there” but it doesnt go away. sometimes ill have a minute where i feel super “3D”… like my brain briefly grabs the steering wheel, and thats it. not aure if im “emerging” from the dissociative state or whaaat. i honestly dont remember what its like to be present. its nice to see others dealing with it and youve encapsulated the feeling very clearly in this video. thanks for sharing!

There are some from the past that will haunt your dreams on and off for decades. He still shows up in mine. I met him at 16. I’m 47 now. So glad we didn’t end up together. But he shows up in my dreams once in awhile, still 18. Just to torment that part of me that won’t forget.

im so thankful i finally found someone with the exact same issue as me. i used to think i was the only one and like i was crazy. after i zone out i would come back in and it would be horrifying because i didnt know where the time went. thank you for spreading awareness about this, its helping me learn to deal with this. i finally feel seen. if you could post anymore ways you cope or deal with this, that would be tremendous help.❤❤❤
